Have you ever felt a part of you that is more powerful than you are? The people who meditate have felt a higher extension of their soul that serves as a guidance system for them. They feel connected to God and feel their path is illuminated by a higher energy. They feel their soul is enlarged and is more than their body.
One of such people and famous speakers is Dr. Deepak Chopra who says that the soul could not have existed in isolation from the rest of the universe. There has to be a link between the two. The chemical formula of a drop of the ocean is the same as the chemical formula of the ocean. Every drop is an ocean in itself. Similarly, we are same as the universe is (as we are made from it). We are an ocean in the drop. Our mind reacts to what the universe does and the universe vibrates with our mind. It creates and destroys as per our desires.
Esther Hicks, a famous spiritual speaker who calls her expanded version as “Abraham,” enlightens the concept further. She says we are bigger than we are visible to ourselves. The higher self of every human being knows the future and has the power to alter it. What keeps us restricted is the blockage of negative thoughts that does not allow us to see ourselves beyond us. Everything that we wish for is already somewhere there in the world and the desire arises as the higher-self guides us to have a vision of it. The more we desire it, the closer we move towards it and the more we negate it, the more we are driven away. It is about being aligned with one’s desires and holding them until we attract the right path to move on.
In most of the cases, our sense of relief activates this guidance system. Being upset blocks it and we lose signal. It’s a lot like a GPS system that the mobile has. The moment the mobile hangs, switches off or moves to a location where the signals are weak, the GPS signal is lost. We lose our GPS when we are too clogged with thoughts, are depressed or move away from our internal self and take the outer world to be the reality.
