Your state of mind is directly proportional to the number of people you have known and the number of people who have stayed close to you. The number of touches on your body decide how confused your cells are. The more you shake hands with people, the more you get selfies clicked with people with their arms around your neck and the more you get intimate with people, the worse would be your state of mind as you grow older. If you don’t know how to declutter your energy through meditation, you must fold hands to greet others by “Namaste”, avoiding handshakes and letting people intrude into your energy fields.

If one is often approached by others to be friends, and one keeps having a soft corner for each one of them and keeps including them and talking to them, imagine the energy state one would stay in, with so much of exchange so regularly taking place. Holding hands with friends would make you vulnerable in the long term if the number of friends is huge. Try being close to the ones who crave for your attention and you would end up having a lot of insufficiency in your own energy. Being around people who see you as someone sexually attractive would fill you with their energy of hunger. It might give you a false pride for a while but you have depleted yourself by keeping them around. That’s why a healthy friendship is the one where no one seeks that special attention from the other and there is no hunger involved.

Maintaining a healthy distance from your friends too is an easy way to keep the mind meditative. The exchange should be limited to one’s family or one or two of those who are too close and one wishes to exchange the energy of love and selflessness.

Touches, handshakes, hugs, thinking about others and letting people around who crave for your love and energy, leaves one’s energy cluttered and one must avoid it to keep one’s mind clear and easy and stay sane till one dies.
