GMAT vs. CAT:
The verbal section in GMAT has shorter passages as compared to the CAT exam but the questions in GMAT are more complex than CAT. The Quant section is far more difficult in CAT as compared to GMAT. CAT takes place only once a year whereas GMAT has many possible test dates every year. GMAT includes an essay to write which CAT doesn’t have. GMAT is a computer adaptive test (questions keep on getting harder on the basis of your performance) and therefore one cannot skip a question and go back to it as it won’t be available. The reasoning section of GMAT is tougher than that of CAT as GMAT has multipart questions, enormous graphs, etc.
GMAT gives you an access to MBA in 114 countries, including U.S and Canada, whereas CAT remains limited to India.
