Positive attitude: The interviewer needs an employee with a positive attitude. It means he wants someone who realizes that there is an opportunity in every adversity and there is nothing in the world that cannot be handled with a smile on one’s face. The person shouldn’t be living in self-pity or should have a positive outlook towards the world.

Communication Skills: Communication is not about knowing a language well. It is one’s ability to get one’s ideas across. However, English is the language of the world today and expressing oneself well in English can be very helpful. Most of the business and the clientele comes from the west and therefore English is the lingua franca.

Passion towards joining: The interviewer wants the candidate to know how big the company is and the candidate is expected to be passionate towards joining the company. If the candidate is just too passive, the interviewer would get to know that the candidate isn’t energetic towards joining the company.

A go-getter: Organizations are business houses and business is all about making money. If an employee isn’t good enough to fetch 10 times the business of the amount he is paid, the organization finds the employee useless. Money can be further broken down into business targets that need to be achieved. if the targets aren’t achieved, the profits suffer and thus, in turn, the whole organization suffers. Therefore, the HR recruiter must be shown that the candidate is a go-getter. A target oriented person is always welcomed by the companies.
