“The path to success is to take massive determined action,” quoted Anthony Robbins. The action begins in your mind before it reaches your deeds. There are certain factors which make you less productive or block your gateway to success.
1. Beating Yourself: As kids you were scolded for your mistakes. The pattern continues in your head, and you beat yourself in your mind, when you get something different from what was expected. You scold yourself, feel scared, feel bad and even feel guilty. You do this in a way your parents or other people did it to you and left an impact on your mind. It’s a habit that needs to be changed. In a circus, a baby elephant is tied with a rope to a stake hammered in the ground. As a baby, it makes several attempts to break it, but in vein. Finally, it becomes so used to it that in its adulthood when it can easily break the rope it remains under a misconception that the rope is too strong to be broken. In a similar way, after being scolded or embarrassed several times in your childhood you get habituated to scold yourself, creating a valley between you and your desires. Instead of losing energy on telling yourself how useless you are, you must take it as a situation which would automatically get resolved as you prepare better the next time and the next time and of course the next time.
2. Naming the situations wrongly: You call something unexpected a failure. The efforts in a direction do not always lead to a set of anticipated results. There is nothing like success or failure and your mindset needs to change here. There are expected and unexpected results. Words like failure and success have misled your life, and that is slightly due to a lack of knowledge in your elders, who have conditioned your mind. They need to understand this too.
3. Lack of Motivation: You feel motivated when you follow your instinct. You feel motivated when you follow the path you are meant to follow. The path you are meant to follow or what your soul desires, is understood when the mind is silent and free. Don’t force yourself to do something. Do what makes you come alive. You should find the path you are meant to walk, which makes you ecstatic and fulfils you completely to feel motivated. You should also choose your environment, like an organization or work, which provides you with amenities, ambiance, remuneration, culture, and rewards as per your expectations. The worst is to settle for less and then feel demotivated.
4. Anxiety: Being too anxious or excited can spoil the game. The best is to remain calm and in the moment. Anxiety means a fear that you might not be able to do it as desired. The best is to feel relaxed and not being too tied to the results. When you keep thinking about the results, anxiety takes over. Anxiety diminishes productivity and the results get even worse. The best is to work on your goals and desires every day than thinking tto much about them.
5. Lack of Love: Unless you love it, you won’t get it. Being fearful or unsure can repel your desires from you. The best is to be thankful for everything you have. Loving your present situations is very important to achieve more. The next step is to love what you desire. Don’t ever feel bad about people having it more than you have. Feel satisfied that you have such people around who have more than you do, for they will inspire you to take leaps in your efforts. Love those people as they would inspire you to move ahead. Take your desire as a hobby and pursue it continually, without expecting any rewards out of it. Eventually, you will be earning out of it and the same would augment with time.
